This short clip initially started off with me monkeying around with a MiG-29's photo to see how it would look like with some generation 5 aircraft parts and proportions. The project eventually grew into a test of "how far can I go with flat images of aircraft cockpit, landscape and a MiG-29".
The animation was done in After Effects with minor bit of Cinema 4D rendering for the landscape and stock footage for the contrails and rain effect.
